First, you’ll need to sign up for an account. Signing up is free and easy to do, and will allow you to store and keep track of all your water quality data in one place.
After signing up for an account, we strongly suggest that you download the Water Rangers app, which is currently available for iPhone users. The app allows you to record your observations in the field, with or without internet connection. Find out how to use the app here!
How to upload data
If you don’t have access to a cellphone, or if you aren’t comfortable uploading your observations online, that’s okay. You can definitely use our testkits without sharing your data online. That being said, if you receive equipment by participating in a study or from a grant, you should check with us to see if you need to share your data or not. Sometimes it’s a condition of the grant that the data has to be shared online.
